You heard about Muse, Meta’s new AI agent, opened Google Play and got nothing. Or worse, you saw a message saying the app isn’t available in your country. Don’t worry, there’s nothing wrong with your phone. Here’s what is going on and what you can do about it.

Why Muse isn’t available everywhere
Meta is rolling Muse out one country at a time instead of launching worldwide on day one. Big companies often do this with new AI products so they can manage server load, check local rules and fix problems before more people join.
So far, Muse has officially launched in three countries:
- United States: 8 September 2026
- Canada: 18 September 2026
- Japan: 23 October 2026
If your Google account is registered anywhere else, including Pakistan, India, the UK or the UAE, the Play Store simply hides the listing. Meta hasn’t shared a date for the next countries yet.
Option 1: Install the official APK

What to expect when you sign in
Here’s the honest part. The app installs fine in any country, but Muse does its actual work on Meta’s servers, connected to your Meta account. In countries where Meta hasn’t switched the service on yet, you may see a not available message after logging in.
If that happens to you:
- Keep the app installed. Once Meta opens your country, it should start working without a reinstall.
- Don’t create a fake account or enter false details. That can get your Facebook or Instagram account flagged.
- Check our availability section, which we update whenever the rollout changes.
Watch out for fake Muse apps
When a popular app isn’t available somewhere, copycats rush in. Before installing anything called Muse, check that the developer is Meta Platforms, Inc. and that nobody is charging you for the download. The real app is free to install.
